Konvent is Antic Teatre
3rd, 4th and 5th november 2016
During three consecutive days, Konvent (Cal Rosal, Berga) and Antic Teatre (Barcelona) will merge to creat an unic sound. Culture and art.
Barcelona is being every time more and more dissociate from art and creative live. Mainland regions are the the ones who offer proposals with judgement and background. The landing of Konvent in Barcelona is the prove of the strenght that has been reached from the distance. Konvent has woven a net that unfolds around the country. For that reason the collaboration with Antic Teatre is a educated and constructive show of respect and admiration betweeen both parts.

It is over 10 years that David comunicates based on selecting music there where is invited. Mostly, his sets are focused on the deepest techno but for him events like this are the oportunity to let him go to other grounds where he also feels comfortable.
Konvent, convertit com espai referent artístic estatal i situat a Cal Rosal (berguedà) és un edifici, una associació i un projecte social i cultural que vetlla per interrelacionar l’entorn amb la producció cultural. Difón lliurement l’art i el treball de les persones i col·lectius involucrats, gestiona propostes i exposicions, dinamitza i coprodueix projectes innovadors de variades temàtiques i, dignifica i dóna a conèixer les potencialitats del territori. Konvent està integrat per artistes i activadors que provenen del món de les arts, amb una àmplia solidesa contrastada dins del món de la cultura.
Antic Teatre – Espai de Creació és un centre Cultural i Social independent situat en un edifici, patrimoni cultural, construït el 1650 al centre de Barcelona.
Antic Teatre és un dels referentsde l’escena independent actual.Un centre de recursos de les arts multidisciplinars per a la investigació i el desenvolupament de nous llenguatges escènics.
La seva missió és recolzar i fomentar la capacitat d’experimentació, creació, producció, exhibició, promoció i difusió dels artistes professionals. Compromès amb la recerca denous llenguatges del cos i moviment, noves dramatúrgies i noves tencologies que eviten tècniques apreses i repetició de metodologies.
