GEST is a project that explores the dialogue between electronic music and contemporary art, creating spaces where sound becomes a form of interpretation.
In this edition, the project expands into a more open format. The space will host three simultaneous exhibitions, each with its own visual, material and conceptual universe, created by Carlos Pesudo, Adela Angulo, Sofia Briales i Berni Puig.
Each exhibition will be interpreted live by a dj, building a set based on the sensations, ideas and atmospheres suggested by the artworks. Brushstrokes, textures, materials and forms will be transformed into melodies, rhythms and sonic structures. The djs in charge of it will be Lucient, Squaric i Coconauta.
The sets will take place at the center of the space, in an intimate and immersive format, where the audience presents as observers of the process. Visitors will be able to move through the space, explore the exhibitions and listen to the sets live, creating a unique experience mixing artwork, sound and context.
More than an event, it is conceived as an open-day journey where different disciplines meet and engage through an organic dialogue.
