GOLDEN GAS

GOLDENGAS is a performance based on real experiences that shows us, metaphorically, how a woman relates to her own energy and how she is transformed when she decides to use this energy in a different way. Going from the disaster that is today’s society to the heaven of superheroes.
GOLDENGAS is proof that turning shit into gold, blood into milk or gas into perfume is within everybody’s reach.
GOLDENGAS is a sociodelic performance that uses a wealth of universal references and varied semiotics to provoke a wide range of sensations and discovered interpretations in a critical and ironic fashion. In technical terms it is a mix of action art, dance, experimental theatre, and audience and video interaction.
Starting from the base created in 50 movimientos de Sudra para célula flamenca, co-produced by and presented at Antic Teatre (https://vimeo.com/125277025), Susana Goulart and Ignacio Galilea come together once again, this time with contributions from musican and composer Carles López.

Ignacio Galilea
Neix a Madrid. Estudia a les Escuelas de Artes y Oficios nº1 y nº 10” de Madrid, comença la seva carrera com a dibuixant i il·lustrador. Cofundador del segell editorial independent Cómic Produkziones Infinitas. Com a pintor des de 1992 exposa en diverses galeries d’Espanya, Itàlia, Brussel·les i Lima (Perú). Com a performer ha format part de la companyia Arte Ritual Ordelot durant tres anys. És cofundador conjuntament amb el poeta Julius Mirlo, del grup d’intervenció en espais públics Mudanzas Contemporáneas. Actua com a performer amb Marcel·lí Antúnez Roca a la gira de Hipermembrana (Mechatronic performance). Ha participat com artista d’acció en nombroses trobades i festivals com per exemple; Contemporary Art Museum (Nàpols), Art Futura 07 (Barcelona), BEM 07 (Burgos), La Fabrika (Padova), MoisMulti (Quebec), III Encuentro Internacional El Arte es Acción 09 (CDN / Madrid), Antic Teatre (Barcelona), Overtoom 301 (Amsterdam), Recyclart (Brussel·les), MEM Festival (Bilbao), ExTeresa Arte Actual (Mexico DF)…
Com a comissari independent i organitzador d’esdeveniments és responsable del Festival de performance ACCIONesLEÓN 09 (Ayuntamiento de León) i actualment del comissariat entre d’altres, dels esdeveniments de performance realitzats als espais; Barlok i Artpotheek (Brussel·les).
